Troye Sivan Mellet (born June 5, 1995) was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is an Australian singer, actor, and former YouTuber. He is professionally known as Troye Sivan. Initially gaining popularity as a YouTube personality, Troye regularly uploaded video blogs, amassing over 7.3 million subscribers and more than 1.3 billion total views by 2021. With his diverse talents and creative endeavors, Troye Sivan continues to captivate audiences worldwide, leaving a lasting impact on both the music and film industries.

In 2013, Sivan signed with EMI Australia after gaining recognition as a singer on YouTube and participating in Australian talent competitions.
