Nicolò Rapisarda was born on May 17, 1991, Rome, Lazio, Italy. He is professionally known as Tony Effe. He an Italian rapper best known as a former member of the Roman trap group Dark Polo Gang. The group, formed in 2014, helped shape the Italian trap scene with their unique blend of auto-tune, flashy lyrics, and street culture influences. Alongside Tony Effe, the original members included Pyrex, Wayne Santana, and DarkSide (later known as Sick Luke, their main producer).

Tony Effe's solo career took off after leaving Dark Polo Gang around 2021. His style mixes trap, hip-hop, and modern rap with a distinctive Italian flair.
