Terrence LeVarr Thornton (born November 26, 1992) was born in New York City, United States. He is an American rapper, songwriter, and record executive. He is professionally known as Pusha T. He first gained recognition as one-half of the hip-hop duo Clipse, which he formed with his older brother No Malice.

The duo was active from 1994 to 2010, releasing three studio albums and several mixtapes that featured hit singles such as "Grindin'" and "When the Last Time," both of which were released in 2002.

In 2010, Pusha T signed with Kanye West's GOOD Music imprint, which was under the aegis of Def Jam Recordings at the time. That same year, he was featured on West's single "Runaway," which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2011, Pusha T released his first solo project, the mixtape Fear of God, which was followed up by his debut solo album, My Name Is My Name, in 2013.

In November 2015, West appointed Pusha T as the president of GOOD Music, taking over his role at the label. Pusha T remained a flagship artist for the company until 2022 when he ended his tenure with the label. Throughout his solo career, Pusha T has released three albums, including King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude in 2015, Daytona in 2018, and It's Almost Dry in 2022. All three albums have received widespread critical acclaim, with the latter becoming Pusha T's first number one debut on the Billboard 200.

Pusha T is known for his intricate wordplay and lyricism, often delving into themes of drug dealing and street life. He has collaborated with several high-profile artists, including Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, and Pharrell Williams, among others.
