Laufey Lín Jónsdóttir (born April 23, 1999) was born in Reykjavík, Iceland. She is a talented Icelandic singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who rose to fame in the early 2020s. With a captivating musical style that blends jazz pop and bedroom pop, she often refers to her music as modern jazz. She is professionally known as Laufey. Laufey's journey to musical recognition began when she participated in The Voice Iceland in 2015.
