"Trouble in Paradise" is the second album by American singer and producer Chlöe. It came out on August 9, 2024, through Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. This album follows her first solo album, "In Pieces," which was released in 2023. Before this new album dropped, Chlöe released two singles: "FYS" on March 1, 2024, and "Boy Bye" on April 12, 2024. Chlöe first shared the album's title after her performance at Coachella in April 2024. Around that time, she also mentioned that the album was finished and sent to her label.

On August 5, 2024, just a few days before the album was released, she announced the release date and showed the cover art. The following day, she revealed the tracklist. The album includes collaborations with artists like Ty Dolla $ign, Anderson .Paak, YG Marley, Jeremih, and her sister, Halle.

Chlöe's journey started with her debut album, "In Pieces," which she released in March 2023. After that, she quickly went on her first headlining tour, the "In Pieces Tour." During her Coachella performance on April 19, 2024, Chlöe officially announced the title of her second album. In an interview with Nylon, she described "Trouble in Paradise" as a mix of a "summer fling" and a "coming-of-age celebration." The album captures the fun and carefree vibes of being young and not taking life too seriously.
